Our Story
Behind the Brand
While wandering the streets of Tel Aviv, partaking in one of our favorite pastimes of admiring the unique architecture throughout the city, we found ourselves stopped at the corner of Ahad Ha’Am and & Karl Netter in front of a run down building dreaming of what a hospitality business would look like behind those walls. While both deep in progressing our separate careers, we knew one day, we’d come together to create something special centered around incredible flavors and uncompromising hospitality standards.
A few years go by, Futura staging in a Michelin star kitchen, Shayna spending more time in airports than home, we both knew something had to change; we desired more for ourselves and what we give to the world around us.
It took a few days, if not a few short hours and the concept was born. We knew hospitality was our common passion, so we needed to decide what it would look like; curated, sustainable, fresh, and caring.
Over the next year, amidst life’s highs and lows, we carved out moments to nurture our shared dream. Conversations turned into plans, envisioning the people, places, and emotions that would define our venture. By the summer of 2024, our resolve crystallized: it was now or never.
And so, with unwavering determination, we proudly introduce Kissá – a meticulously curated culinary experience.
Futura
Chef, Head of Culinary
Born in Milan, to a family of chefs and travelers, Futura was exposed since childhood to a variety of cuisines and gastronomical influences.
Later on she moved to Tel Aviv where she obtained a Psychology degree while discovering the culinary scene of the city. The time spent immersed in diverse culinary cultures deepened her passion and appreciation of the art of food, at which point she decided to return to Italy to hone her skills by attending Alma The School of Italian Culinary Arts. Throughout the course of her studies, she has worked in high end restaurants in Milan and Venice where Futura is bringing her international experiences into Italian kitchens.
Shayna
Maître D', Head of Business Operations
Originally from Los Angeles but moved all throughout her childhood, Shayna spent her weekends and holidays between movie sets and event venues watching visions come to life. Little did she know, this was slowly molding her future. After years in fast paced start ups focused on the growth of other peoples companies, Shayna is tapping into her passion of hosting and creating. Now a third generation event planner, she is ready to grow her own visions alongside her business partner and every guest she hosts.
